Simply register through the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, add your Azure subscriptions in the Azure portal’s Service Provider settings, and complete a brief questionnaire.

Azure Benchmark is delivered as a SaaS solution by Codify’s managed service team.

Is the Cloud service physically located in Australia?

Yes, the Azure Benchmark service is hosted on Microsoft Azure infrastructure within Australia, specifically in the Azure Australia East region in Sydney.

Where is the third-party business located, and under which National or International jurisdiction does the third party operate?

Codify is based in Queensland, Australia, and operates under Australian jurisdiction.

Is personally identifiable information used or stored in the solution?

No personally identifiable information is stored or required for the Azure Benchmark service.

What data is collected?

The solution collects cost and billing data directly from Microsoft’s API to analyse and benchmark Azure spending.

Does the solution have Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)?

Yes, Azure Benchmark supports Azure RBAC and can be revoked by the customer at anytime.

Who has administrative/privileged access to the servers and application?

Administrative access to the underlying Azure services is maintained by Codify.

Is two-factor authentication implemented?

Yes, multi-factor authentication (MFA) is required for all administrative access.

How is data in transit secured?

All data in transit is encrypted using HTTPS protocols.

Is data stored secured and encrypted, including backups?

Yes, our solution uses Azure SQL’s to backup and encrypted data using Transparent Data Encryption (TDE).

Does the provider use security technologies such as IDS/IPS, Firewalls, VPNs, and DoS protections?

Yes, Azure Benchmark leverages Azure-native security features like Azure App Service and Service Bus protections provided by Microsoft.

Is there security monitoring in place or enabled?

Yes, security monitoring is active through Defender for Cloud for Azure resources.

Is there audit logging in place to capture all events on servers, databases, network infrastructure, etc.?

Yes, Azure Activity Monitor maintains audit logs for all resources

How does the provider manage Security Incidents – Monitoring, Detection and Handling? Will customers be notified?

Codify manages incidents through our Information Security Management System. Customers are promptly notified in the event of significant incidents.

Will there be arrangements in place for vendor support during security investigations?

Yes, Codify’s managed service team is available to support customers during security investigations, and assistance is accessible via support@codify.com.

What are the onboarding steps?

Access our Azure Benchmark marketplace listing and add it to your Azure subscriptions.

How do we remove your service?

Remove the Codify Azure Benchmark offering from the Service Providers configuration within your Azure Subscriptions.

Can I request my data be deleted?

Yes, your data can be permanently deleted by contacting support@codify.com
